Manufacturing−Non-Durable Goods
Expect a Net Employment Outlook of 14 per cent—six percentage points higher than the Outlook projected during the previous quarter.
Transportation & Public Utilities
Employers report a seasonally adjusted Net Employment Outlook of 14 per cent, improving 10 percentage points from both the previous quarter and from the same time last year.
Construction
Employers report a Net Employment Outlook of 13 per cent—a drop from 16 per cent the previous quarter.
Public Administration
The Public Administration industry sector anticipates a 12 per cent Net Employment Outlook. This quarter’s forecast is an increase from both the previous quarter and the same time last year when industry employers reported outlooks of six and eight per cent, respectively.
Services
A Net Employment Outlook of 12 per cent is an improvement from the same time last year, when employers reported an outlook of six per cent.
Wholesale & Retail Trade
The 12 per cent Net Employment outlook is unchanged from the previous quarter.
