MONTREAL — AtkinsRéalis adds Brotech Precision CNC as a new ambassador to support the Canadians for CANDU campaign.

The Canadians for CANDU campaign was launched on Feb. 28, 2024, and promotes the deployment of CANDU nuclear technology at home and abroad to support Canadian and global efforts to reach net-zero emissions.

“I would like to thank Brotech for their leadership in Canada’s world-class nuclear sector, and their support for CANDU technology,” said Joe St. Julian, president, Nuclear, AtkinsRéalis. “This growing movement can position Canada as a global clean energy champion while promoting a domestic nuclear industry that Canadians can be proud of.”

“It’s an honour to be a part of this team of leaders in the nuclear industry in support of new CANDU reactors,” said Jerome Horowitz, president of Brotech. “We have been manufacturing components for CANDU reactors for nearly 30 years. It’s exciting to see the world return to nuclear, and to be a part of Canada’s continued nuclear leadership.”
