Advanced Manufacturing Outlook Survey 2025

Your responses can be part of vital data that informs the manufacturing industry heading into 2025. The survey takes approximately ten minutes to complete, and covers Industry 4.0 technology adoption.

Industry 4.0 is in full swing, and has been adopted by most manufacturers in Canada to some degree. This year, we’re diving into how it’s used, its perceived limitations, and some of the challenges 2024 has wrought on that advanced manufacturing technologies are trying to help deal with.

These challenges include the ongoing labour shortage, pricing challenges due to inflation, environmental concerns in the wake of a sustainability transformation, and building a resilient and flexible supply chain.

The technologies being asked about include everything from ERPs to AI software. Questions centre around what data is being collected, what’s forming a roadblock to further implementation, cybersecurity challenges, and where the strongest benefits are.

The responses to those questions will be discussed at length at our advanced manufacturing roundtable, a virtual event occurring in late August 2024, where industry leaders from manufacturing companies and associations will come together to talk about the implications of the survey results.

This discussion, coupled with the survey data, will form the core part of our Advanced Manufacturing Report, to be published later this year in the fall.

As an additional bonus, Canadian Manufacturing and Plant magazine are providing one lucky respondent a chance to win a $500 BestBuy gift card, randomly selected from all of the respondents.
